What is a network time server appliance?

NTP time servers can receive accurate time from a GPS (satellite) and MSF (radio) source, ensuring the time they send to computers and clocks is reliable and accurate.

A radio antenna can be placed inside or outside and picks up the time signal from the nearest radio tower. A GPS antenna must be placed outside and can pick up the time signal from 12 satellites.

An extension kit can also be provided, allowing you to place the antennas up to 1000 metres away from your server. With this extension kit, you can position your antennas in the most convenient location for you.

The NTP time server is connected to your internal network via ethernet to ensure accurate and reliable time is provided.
