Back in 2006, David Doughty was watching his son play football when he realised his feet were freezing, even though he was wearing so-called ‘thermal’ socks. At that moment, he decided he would create a new kind of thermal sock, socks so blissfully warm that his feet wouldn’t know it was winter. After two years of hardwork, the unique HEAT HOLDERS socks appeared in stores. People absolutely loved them, and they were deservedly granted a UK patent in 2014.
